Who we are
Engineers who got tired of workarounds.
KnowledgeSeed is a Swiss company founded in 2016. We design and build the planning, BI, and AI systems that enterprises run on. Everything we ship, we built. Everything we built, we'd use ourselves.
How we got here
Our products started as our tools.
We spent years building enterprise planning systems the hard way and kept running into the same walls: rigid platforms, hand-written interfaces, deployments that took months longer than they should. So, we built our own tooling to get past them. That tooling became Seeder. The same pattern gave us Kionic and Aleksandria. Nothing in our stack was invented for a brochure. It exists because we needed it on a real project, for a real need.
How we think
Good enough isn't good enough
We take on work where quality is the requirement, not the upsell. Most of what makes a system reliable is invisible at handover. It shows up two years later, at quarter-end, under load. That's the part we perfected.
Systems should adapt to people
Not the other way around. Every system we build is shaped around how the organization actually works: its process, its logic, its people. If your team needs a training manual to do their daily work, the system failed, not the team.
You should own what you paid for
We document everything, train your team, and hand over systems that run without us in the room. Dependency is not a business model we're interested in.
Small by design
A senior team, on purpose.
We're deliberately small. No junior staff learning on your budget, no account layers between you and the people building your system. The person who scopes your project is the person who engineers it. That's not a constraint we tolerate. It's the model we chose.
